Sabina Wildes
In pursuit of further assistance, Sabina’s journey led her to the United States in 2015, where she began working as a Swahili translator for a ministry in Dallas, Texas, sending remittances back to Kenya to sustain the volunteer work. Her dedication and passion eventually culminated in a partnership with a 501(c)(3) organization in the U.S., allowing her to focus entirely on her philanthropic efforts. In 2016, her personal life flourished alongside her professional endeavors as she married Eugene Wildes, a fellow Christian deeply involved in Nairobi's ministry. The following year, the U.S. Embassy recognized and awarded Sabina for her exceptional support to women in slums, people living with HIV, and vulnerable children, youth, and orphans. Her remarkable work gained widespread attention through numerous media features across the country.Reflecting on her journey, Sabina shares, "It is both a great pleasure and honor to lead this organization and to raise awareness about the significant needs within the slum communities, along with my continued vision and support for the orphans, guided by the Lord. With God's grace, I have now founded my own nonprofit, Grace and Mercy Kenya Orphaned, to further this mission."
